National Clubs Competition

Welcome to the Derbyshire competion section, here, we proudly showcase our robust array of competitions designed to cater to both adult, junior and walking netball players across the County.

National Clubs Competition

The U14 and U16 National Club Competitions are national competitions organised by England Netball to enable clubs to compete against each other to determine a national winner.


Each county nominates its champion and runner up to play in the regional round- U16 23rd March and U14 13th April.



The winner and runner up from the regional round qualify for the National Finals.


County Clubs Competition

Under 14s

The Derbyshire U14 National Clubs County Round Tournament took place on Sunday, 16th March 2025, at Woodlands School, bringing together some of the county’s most talented young netball teams for an exciting and competitive day of matches.


A huge congratulations to Allestree and Pennine, who claimed 1st place and 2nd place with an outstanding performance, securing their spot in the U14 National Clubs – Regional Round on 13th April.

The Derbyshire U16 National Clubs County Round Tournament took place on Sunday, 19th January 2025, at Rykneld Sports Centre, showcasing some of the county’s most promising young netball talent.


A huge congratulations to Ashbourne and Allestree, who have both secured their places in the U16 National Clubs – Regional Round on Sunday, 23rd March 2025 after delivering outstanding performances throughout the tournament.


  • Ashbourne claimed 1st place, demonstrating exceptional teamwork and skill.
  • Allestree finished as runners-up, earning their well-deserved spot in the next stage.
  • Long Eaton put up a strong fight to secure 3rd place.


Well done to all the teams who took part and a huge thank you to all the volunteers and coaches.


The tournament showcased incredible talent, determination, and netball skill.
